RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work in a multi-disciplinary team with other professionals such as Back-End Developers, Front-End Developers and UI/UX Designers;
• Build an efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules;
• Develop back-end web applications in collaboration with Front-End developers;
• Opportunity to manage projects and a small development team;
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges;
• Create database schemas representing and supporting business processes;
• Integrate user-facing elements developed by Front-End Developers;
• Customize existing applications to fit specific requirements;
• Deploy and technically support software components and web solutions;
• Document the development process, architecture and standard components;
• Multi-tasking project development.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous working experience as a Back-End PHP/Laravel Developer for at least 5 years;
• Strong experience with PHP Development;
• Strong experience with Laravel or another similar framework (Symphony, Codeigniter, etc.)
• Strong experience with MySQL database-systems;
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming;
• Team and/or project management experience is considered as a huge plus;
  
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field;
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git;
• Knowledge of MVC Design Patterns;
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3;
• Experience in integrate with server-side RESTful APIs (JSON/XML)
• Write efficient, scalable, testable, and maintainable code for new features and system components;
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and give accurate time estimates;
• Very good English language skills;
• Be able to work on your own initiative and be flexible and focused.
